The father of two kids, who were burnt to death in a case of caste-violence in Sunpedh area of Ballabhgarh, today expressed his faith in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe despite forensic experts' shocking revelations about the incident.
According to a leading daily, the forensic experts of Haryana made a shocking revelation in the Ballabhgarh Dalit killings case, saying the origin and source of the fire was inside the house and not from outside.
The forensic experts also found a half-burnt kerosene oil plastic bottle under the partially burnt bed along with a burnt matchstick lying on a slab next to the window of the room.
Commenting on this report, Jitender said he could not believe that such a statement has been put forward.
"How can the house catch fire from inside? I was sleeping with my wife and kids and the fire started from the window. How can the fire be from inside? I don't know how this CBI team is investigating. I had full faith in them that the investigation would be unbiased. That is why I had asked for a CBI enquiry. I can't believe what you're telling me," he told ANI.
He also said the CBI has not told him anything so far with respect to this report.
"When they tell me I will tell you. I have full faith that I will get justice," he added.
This untoward incident in Ballabhgarh area of Faridabad district took place earlier this month, where four members of a Dalit family, including two children, were set afire allegedly by the upper caste men. The two kids were killed and their mother suffered serious injuries.
