Government rules had forced Mario Balotelli to leave his pet pig in Italy during the striker's move from AC Milan to Liverpool in August, and he is still waiting to be reunited with his pet.
The striker moved to Liverpool from AC Milan in August, but had to leave behind his treasured pet Super. Government rules mean that Balotelli has to first register as a breeder, then get a certificate of health from an Italian vet before she is allowed to fly, The Independent reported.
Balotelli is reportedly hoping to get the paperwork sorted soon. He had previously tweeted about the pet last year.
A source revealed that Balotelli has bent the ear of the people in the office, everyone, adding that the lads have got to hear about it and the swines are giving him loads.
The source said that the striker just laughs it off and talks about what great pets pigs make.
