Bollywood film 'Bang Bang' has topped the 2014 charts in North America claiming the number one title.
The Hrithik Roshan starrer film, which is a remake of Tom Cruise's 'Knight And Day,' scored the biggest opening weekend of the year for an Indian title, and has now grossed 2.56 million dollars, beating Salman Khan's 'Kick,' which had earned 2.47 million dollars, Deadline.com reported.
However, the Fox International Productions and Fox Star Studios project, which also stars Karina Kaif and has been playing at more than 100 theaters across the U.S. and Canada, would still have to fill a long gap to become the year's highest-grossing Indian movie, as the title is held by 'Dhoom 3', which had claimed almost 8 million dollars.
