A court in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is set to deliver its verdict today in the sensational Ramna Batamul carnage case.

The verdict will end the 13-year old wait for justice for the families of the ten people killed and 50 injured in a gruesome bomb attack during Bangla New Year celebrations on April 14, 2001.

The verdict will decide the fate of 14 leaders and activists of the banned militant outfit HUJI, including its leader, Mifti Abdul Hannan.

The court was scheduled to pronounce the judgement on June 16, but reset the date for today as the judge could not complete writing his judgement.
