The Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly advised its citizen against travelling to Libya till further instruction.
The ministry has been monitoring the situation and has requested Bangladesh Nationals to avoid visiting Libya, the Daily Star reported.
Over 40,000 Bangladeshis are currently living in Libya. According news reports many have been forced to take risky journey through Mediterranean to Europe. In Aug, 24 bangladeshi were killed and 54 were rescued after a boat capsized in the sea.
Earlier, Bangladesh had suspended its mission in Libya and is currently run from Tunisia.
