Bank of America shocked a feminist writer with their credit card offer letter by referring her to as a "slut".
Lisa McIntire took to Twitter to showcase photos of her letter which was addressed to 'Lisa Is a Slut McIntire', the New York Daily News reported.
The letter also carried a footnote said 'Prestige without the price'.
McIntire said that she doesn't know what is going on, but having her mom receive mail addressed to 'Lisa Is A Slut McIntire' is wildly unacceptable.
The freelance California writer immediately contacted Bank of America and the Golden Key International Honor Society which appeared to be partnering with the bank on the offer, and was informed that the name change took place between 2004 and 2008.
McIntire added that the matter is still been investigated and there is a possibility that she had been "slutting" in the honor society's database for almost 10 years.
