A Florida couple, who sued Bank of America for harassing them with more than 700 collection calls, have won 1 million dollars in compensation.
According to New York Post, the couple, Nelson and Joyce Coniglio, said the bank badgered them after they had fallen behind on their house payments.
The couple reportedly sued the bank under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and was awarded a little over 1 million dollars by a federal judge in Tampa.
Nelson said that the bank treated them very badly and there was no two ways about it.
