Barack Obama helped a woman who nearly fainted during his speech on Affordable Care Act at the White House.

The 52-year-old president caught Karmel Allison, a pregnant woman, as she began to sway and black out, standing right behind him, People magazine reported.

Obama told her that she was okay and bringing some levity to the situation added that this is what happens when he talks too long.

According to a White House description, Allison was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 9 years old and has stayed on the same insurance ever since.

Allison later tweeted that she had just got a little lightheaded and thanked the president for catching her.
