A new poll has revealed that former first lady Barbara Bush is more popular than the current first lady Michele Obama.
The 88-year-old wife of George H. W. Bush had 77 percent votes, followed by her daughter-in-law Laura Bush, who had 73 percent votes in a Gallup survey which observed the favorability factor while in the office, the Washington Times reported.
Obama held 66 percent favorability rating among the survey respondents, while Brack Obama's favorability rating stood at 52 percent and Hillary Clinto at 56 percent.
Gallup analyst Alyssa Brown said that that the rally effects after the 9/11 terrorist attack may have been the reason behind Laura Bush's rating.
