Barbra Streisand has refused to write an autobiography, even though publishers are offering many millions of dollars for the book.
Viking Press has asked the 71-year-old diva - one of the few people to win Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards - to write her autobiography four years ago, the New York Post reported.
However, Streisand wrote 'My Passion for Design,' a 2010 coffee table book about her house in Malibu, for which she is credited as both author and photographer.
The best seller, which includes images of the shopping mall in Streisand's basement - is something of a cult classic and inspired an off-Broadway play, 'Buyer and Cellar.
The book's success has made Viking even more desperate for her memoirs, especially if she's going to open up about her alleged lovers, which includes Kris Kristofferson, Warren Beatty, Don Johnson, Ryan O'Neal, Jon Peters, Liam Neeson, Andre Agassi and Bill Clinton.
