Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly keen on hiring Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino as their new manager if he leaves the Spanish giants at the end of the season.
Tottenham, who is currently reviewing Tim Sherwood's position after a run of poor results, are expected to look for a more experienced replacement in the summer.
According to Metro.co.uk, Martino has emerged as a new option for manager of the club along with Holland manager Louis van Gaal and Galatasaray boss Roberto Mancini and the Argentine is already said to already be planning for life away from the Nou Camp, with the Premier League his next ambition.
The report mentioned that Martino is reportedly in talks with Barcelona over his future, while it is predicted that he will be sacked if he does not agree to go at the end of the campaign.
Until managing Barcelona, Martino had not coached a club outside of South America, but he is widely respected across Europe for his style of attractive football and ability to develop young players, the report added.
