Spanish football giants Barcelona have agreed a deal to sign Portugal midfielder Andre Gomes for around 50 million euros.
The development means that the 22-year-old midfielder will no longer be seen playing for Valencia from next season, Marca reported.
Gomes, who was a member of Portugal's Euro 2016 winning team, had been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid, who ultimately decided to drop the signing after Valencia demanded a hefty price for the still somewhat unproved youngster.
Gomes, who played 27 league games for Valencia in the 2015-16 campaign, is expected to pass his medical test within next few days.
