Spanish football club Barcelona claimed their third Champions League in six years on Saturday, winning by a 3-1 margin against Italian club Juventus.
According to the BBC, the brilliance of their attacking trident proved too much for the challenge posed by Juventus at Berlin's Olympic Stadium.
In a thrilling spectacle, where both Barcelona and Juventus sought to stake a claim for a treble after winning domestic league and cup competitions, it was Luis Enrique's side that eventually came out on top.
The goals for Barcelona were scored by Ivan Rakitic, Suarez and Neymar in the fourth, 68th and 90th minutes of the game. For Juventus, the sole goal was scored by Morata in the 55th minute of the match.
Barcelona's brilliance, built around Neymar, Messi and Suarez notwithstanding, Juventus ran them every inch of a compelling encounter.
In the end, Barcelona simply had that extra touch that places them above the rest of Europe as a football side.
