Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi on Wednesday said that five people have been arrested so far in connection with the death of a 38-year-old man in a road rage incident in Turkman Gate area.
"Five people have been arrested. Our investigation is on so that the relevant evidence can be collected," he said.
"Our aim is to hand over the chargesheet to the court at the earliest so that the culprits can be punished," he added.
Shahnawaz, the deceased was returning home on his motorcycle along with his two children on Sunday, when he was beaten to death after a minor accident in Turkman Gate area.
He was taken to LNJP hospital following the incident, but was declared brought dead.
The locals staged a protested against the police after the incident and alleged inaction in the case.
