Bayern Munich are close to signing Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina in a staggering 2 million pound deal.
According to Mirror, the move ends the Spain international keeper's search for a permanent club this summer after spending last season on loan at Napoli.
While it was assumed that Rafa Benitez was keen on a reunion this term, the Bundesliga champions jumped in to snap him up.
Artur Boruc was apparently the preferred candidate for the Bayern back-up role last week before they decided to go for Reina instead.
Reina will now compete with current number one and Germany international stopper Manuel Neuer for first-team minutes at the Allianz Arena.
