European champions Bayern Munich has won the Bundesliga title for a 24th time with a record seven games to spare following a 3-1 victory over Hertha Berlin at the Olympiastadion on Tuesday.

Having already won the Bundesliga, Super Cup and Club World Cup, Bayern is in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and semi-finals of the German Cup, while Hertha went the same way as Bayern's previous 18 Bundesliga opponents.

According to the BBC, the victory is Bayern's 52nd league game without defeat, while they have won 10 consecutive away matches in the league with the old record being nine - set by them last season.

Bayern took control early in the first half with a goal from midfielder Toni Kroos, followed by Mario Gotze's header in the 14th minute, although Adrian Ramos' penalty reduced the deficit.

However, Franck Ribery's shot in the 79th minute took Bayern back on track and sparked wild celebrations among their fans after it led the club to victory, the report added.
