Noted cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle has been sacked by the Board for the Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) from the ongoing ninth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Reflecting on the news, Bhogle said he had no clue about the reasons for his axing from the IPL commentary panel, adding that he was just being informed that it was the BCCI management's decision.
According to the dawn, the decision regarding the selection of commentators is taken after getting feedback from the players as well as on social media reactions.
Earlier, the 54-year-old sparked controversy when he was allegedly being involved in a heated argument with an official during a World T20 match at Vidarbha Cricket Ground in Nagpur.And Bhogle believes that it could possibly be the reason behind his contract termination.
