Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst has been blamed for causing Balkan floods, which has led to the death of more than 50 people, by church leaders.
The leaders blaming Wurst for the flooding is similar to the ones echoed by UKIP councillor David Silvester who blamed gay marriage for January's flooding in the south of England, the Mirror reported.
Several church leaders have said that floods, the worst in over a century, was God's 'divine punishment' for her Eurovision victory.
Patriarch Amfilohije of Montenegro, a Serbian Orthodox cleric, told Serbian news website e-novine that the flooding was not a coincidence, but a warning, adding that God sent the rains as a reminder that people should not join the wild side.
