Beatles and six other acts, including Isley Brothers and Kraftwerk will be honoured with Grammy's lifetime achievement awards.
In the wake of the announcements, Neil Portnow, head of the Recording Academy, said that it is a great privilege to recognize such an exceptional group of honorees, celebrate their accomplishments and their contributions to the recording industry, Dawn News reported.
Other awardees include Mexican composer Kris Kristofferson, Armando Manzanero, Clifton Chenier and late US violinist Maud Powell.
