Bee Gees star Barry Gibb has revealed that he is hoping that his solo UK tour will finally help him draw the curtain over his brothers' deaths.

Robin Gibb was younger to Barry, 67, and succumbed to cancer in 2012, while his fraternal twin brother Maurice Gibb, died in 2003 aged 53 after a stomach op.

According to the Mirror, the homecoming show in Manchester will be Barry's very first performance since the death of his brothers, who were also a part of his famous band.

Barry asserted that playing in Manchester will be a full cycle, as the trio were brought up there, before they immigrated to Australia as children.

He added that a movie based on the band, which featured the brothers' unique high-pitched vocals, could soon be on the cards.
