Tom Daley has opened up for the very first time since revealing his sexuality on his YouTube channel and said that "being gay is not news".

During the interview with Attitude magazine, which has named him the crowning glory of their 'Hot 100 Sexiest Men' list for the second year in a row, the 20-year-old Olympic medal-winning diver said that he doesn't think that anyone coming out of the closet should be news, as it doesn't matters who you choose to be in a relationship with, the Daily Star reported.

However, 'The Splash!' star acknowledged that the society has evolved over the years and has become more accepting than it was five or ten years ago, but added that there is still a long way to go before people no longer assume you're in a heterosexual relationship.

The diver, who was the 2009 FINA World Champion in the individual event at the age of 15, has also posed topless in low-slung jeans for the sexy photoshoot for the magazine.

Daley is currently dating Hollywood script writer Dustin Lance Black.
