Belgian authority has arrested two suspects for planning Paris-style terror attacks on Brussels city center on New Year's Eve, prosecutors said.
After the series of raids around the city, the authorities found Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) propaganda and military-style hardware and computer equipment in the homes of the two suspects.
As per the latest reports, no arms or explosives have been found and the authorities have not yet established any links to Paris attacks.
One suspect is believed to be associated with leading a terrorist organisation and has been recruiting others.
The second suspect is likely to be charged as a participant in a terrorist organisation.
After the Paris attacks in November, alert level in Brussels was alarmingly raised to the highest level for several days.
