Benedict Cumberbatch rules out role in Star Wars sequel

Benedict Cumberbatch has ruled out a possible role in the highly-anticipated Star Wars sequel.

The 'Sherlock' star admitted that he would have liked to be in J.J. Abrams new Star Wars, but added that "it won't happen", Contactmusic reported.

However, Cumberbatch has not elaborated on the reasons for the failed deal

'Star Wars: Episode Vii' is scheduled to release in December 2015.
