The two-day 'Bengal Global Business Summit 2015' which will begin on Wednesday in Kolkata would be attended by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari.
Besides, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and a host of industrialists will be also be seen in attendance.
A 500-strong delegation from India and aboard are expected to join the investment extravaganza. The state government is attempting to use the event platform to showcase West Bengal as an ideal investment destination.
Delegations from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, the US and Australia are also expected to participate.
