Bengaluru: Fake notes worth Rs 1.28 crores recovered, two arrested

The Karnataka Police's anti-rowdy squad on Thursday recovered fake currency worth Rs 1.28 crores and arrested two people in this regard.

The scrapped notes were in the denominations of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000, the police said.

The Income Tax department has been alerted about the seizure.

An FIR has been registered in this regard.

Further investigation is on.
