Forward Christian Benteke produced a spirited performance as he helped Aston Villa eke out a 3-3 draw with his hat-trick against Queens Park Rangers, lifting his side one point clear of the Premier League relegation zone on Tuesday.
Matt Phillips gave QPR an early lead in the 7th minute before Benteke leveled through a deflected drive three minutes later.
Subsequently, the Belgian international doubled his side's advantage to give QPR a 2-1 lead at the end of the first-half.
However, the second-half saw a rejuvenated QPR side as Clint Hill and Charlie Austin restored their team's lead before Benteke's stunning free-kick leveled the score again, the BBC reported.
With the draw, Villa are 16th on the league table with 29 points, one point ahead of relegation zone and three points ahead of QPR.
