Beyonce Knowles has taken up charge in attempt to ban the use of word 'bossy' for girls.
The 32-year-old singer-actor has joined the campaign created by The Girl Scouts of the USA, LeanIn.org and Lifetime television which says that calling a girl 'bossy' has a negative effect on her desire to lead and aims to empower the women by encouraging everyone to sign a pledge in order to ban the word 'bossy'.
Beyonce will be leading the campaign along with known celebrity faces like Jane Lynch, Diane von Furstenburg, and Jennifer Garner, the Mirror reported.
The singer has also shot for the campaign wherein she looks down the camera and says: "I'm not bossy - I'm the boss.
