Bidsvilla, an online auction based marketplace for Indian arts will launch an online auction series for art lovers in October 2015. The auction will be launched in collaboration with London based auction house, Conferro Heritae.
Bidsvilla and Conferro association will host this auction on the site www.bidsvilla.com with over 5 lakh units of inventory with a value of over Rs. 400 Crore.
The auction will include three categories such as auction of vintage Indian and international news publications, magazines, cartoons, advertisements. This will include historic events from The New York Times, The Hindu, The Times of Vietnam, Japan Times, The Egyptian Gazette published from 1900s.
The second category will have online auctioning of Movie Memorabilia from 1900 including old posters, synopsis, lobby cards, LPs of movies from 1900s like Mughal-e-Azam, Guide, Mother India among others.
Apart from this it also includes a special "Hollywood section" where posters from classical by Alfred Hitchcock and Charlie Chaplin will be up for sale. The last auction will include Fine Arts by artists like F.N. Souza, V.S.Gaitonde, S.H. Raza and M.F. Hussain.

The online auction will take place from 13th-14th October 2015 with the Vintage Publications on display. 16th-17th October 2015 will see displays of Movie Memorabilia along with Fine Arts on 19th-20th October 2015.
