The 2015 blockbuster 'Piku,' starring Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, has clocked one year today and its director Shoojit Sircar and Big B are celebrating it with tweets.
Film director Shoojit tweeted, "Celebrating one year of #PIKU."
'Piku,' which had garnered wide critical acclaim upon its release, also emerged as a commercial success worldwide.
The film had given Deepika her Second Filmfare Award for Best Actress, while the 73-year-old actor received his fourth National Film Award for Best Actor at the 63rd National Film Awards for his commendable performance in the film.
Additionally, Big B's 1992 romance drama 'Khuda Gawah', which had won much acclaim for all its actors and especially, the lead pair - Sridevi and Amitabh Bachchan, has completed 28 years today.
"T 2249 - Mother's Day: 1 year of PIKU: 28 years of KHUDA GAWAH: but without Ma nothing of this would have happened !," reads Big B's tweet.
