Senior BJP leader and former minister Giriraj Singh on Tuesday criticized Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of being dishonest and corrupt.
Singh said, "Though the BJP supported Nitish every time when he was in power or not, but now just because of the power, he is with Congress and Nitish was against the Congress his whole life."
Challenging Kumar, Giriraj said if there was a little bit of honesty in Nitish, he would have resigned from the NDA post.
"Even in 2000, when Kumar was Chief Minister of Bihar for seven days, he said that he will struggle with Bihar, but ran away to Delhi." Singh said
"I used to respect Nitish, but the way he is behaving and using the funds of the MLAs, he is the most corrupt politician," Singh added.
The JD (U) on June 16 had formally announced the split of its 17-year-old alliance with the BJP in Bihar, and also walked out of the NDA.
