The Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party will limit itself to campaigning against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Bihar polls, putting to rest speculations that the party would expand its base beyond the national capital.
The BJP and the RJD-JD (U), who are already in the battleground, have repeatedly locked horns before the crucial Assembly polls.
BJP's in-charge for the Bihar polls, Ananth Kumar, has said that his party is the face of good governance and the people of the state will readily embrace its policies of development and public welfare.
However, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad Yadav has claimed that the BJP would taste defeat in the polls, scheduled to be held later this year.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has also mocked the BJP, saying he has never seen a party more afraid before elections.
The BJP, meanwhile, has joined forces with Upendra Khuswaha's Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP), Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and former chief minister Jitan Ram Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) for the Assembly elections.
