A Bihar minister's son, studying in ninth standard of Gwalior's Scindia School today allegedly attempted suicide inside the school premises. He was found lying on the floor in an unconscious state with marks on his neck. The boy has been admitted to Apollo Hospital
However, denying an attempt to commit suicide, the boy's uncle Brijesh Singh said, "We don't think this was a suicide attempt He has been studying in this school since three years. The school administration said that he hanged himself but this is not possible. The police should investigate the matter."
Singh further added that the boy had once complained of ragging but the school principal assured of such a case not being repeated in future.
Complaining about the lack of first aid facilities in the school, Singh also said that so far they hadn't had any update from the police.
However, the Chief Superintendent of Police, Raghu Bansi said, "Neither the school nor the hospital informed us of the suicide case; we got to know via the media.
Adding to it, the boy's local guardian Narendra Sharma said that he got to know about the incident after getting a call from the boy's mother.
