A voter turnout of 52.42 percent was recorded till 3 p.m. on Sunday in the ongoing fourth phase of the Bihar assembly elections.
Voter turnout of 56.47 percent was recorded in West Champaran District, 53.45 percent in East Champaran, 54.70 percent in Sheohar, 53.46 percent in Sitmarhi, 52.51 percent in Muzaffarpur, 50.93 percent in Gopalganj and 46.62 percent in Siwan.
A total of 776 candidates are battling for 55 seats across seven districts of West Champaran, East Champaran, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Gopalgunj and Siwan.
