Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address his fourth 'parivartan rally' in Bhagalpur on Tuesday in an attempt to boost the Bharatiya Janata Party's chances in the upcoming Bihar polls.
Preparations are underway at the venue with heavy security checks being done on the grounds. Revellers gathered around the venue chanting the Prime Minister's name, playing drums and wearing masks of Prime Minister Modi's face.
Meanwhile, the 'Swabhiman' rally of the grand alliance of the Janata Dal-United (JD-U), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Samajwadi Party and the Congress which was held on Sunday was described as a 'flop show' by Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan.
"The Swabhimaan rally yesterday was a flop. Congress and JDU should merge into RJD. Sonia Gandhi wasn't given priority as a speaker... Sonia Gandhi was insulted when she was reduced to speaking before Lalu Yadav and Nitish Kumar," Paswan said.
