Bilateral relations between India, Guinea will be further strengthened: Prez

Extending his greetings and felicitations to the government and the people of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea on the eve of their National Day, President Pranab Mukherjee has expressed confidence that the bilateral relations between both sides will be further strengthened in the years ahead.

In his message to Brig. Gen. Teodoro Obiang Nguema M'basogo, the President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, President Mukherjee said, "On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey to you, to the Government and the people of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day."

 

"Our two countries enjoy warm and friendly relations. I am confident that our bilateral relations will be further strengthened in the years ahead to the mutual benefit of the peoples of our countries," he added.

The President also requested his counterpart to accept his good wishes for his health and well-being, as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
