Bill Cosby has praised Eddie Murphy for not accepting to play him on 'Saturday Night Live's 40th anniversary special.
Cosby's spokesperson conveyed his words saying that the 77-year-old comedian, who's facing several sexual assault charges, that he was "very appreciative of Eddie and I applaud his actions," Deadline.com reported.
SNL alum Norn Macdonald, who was assigned to convince Murphy to play the part in Cosby in that Celebrity Jeopardy skit, had fired over 100 tweets to the actor, 53, in an attempt to bring him onboard, but Murphy refused as "the laughs were not worth kicking a man when he is down it.
