Bill Cosby's Hollywood Walk of Fame was recently defaced after the word "rapist" was written on Cosby's star three times, it has been revealed.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which manages the stars embedded in several sidewalks, wrote in a statement when people were unhappy with one of their honorees, they would hope that they would project their anger in more positive ways than to vandalize a California state landmark, the Guardian reported.
However, the graffiti commenting on sex abuse allegations against Cosby were removed later.
Cosby received his star in 1977 and it is placed near the busy intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and North Highland Avenue.
