Bill Cosby's wife on the show 'The Cosby Show' has come out in his support, saying that the allegations of historical sex offences against him are part of a campaign to keep him off TV.

Phylicia Rashad, who played Clair Huxtable on the hit 1980s and '90s sitcom, said that someone is determined to keep Cosby off TV and it's worked, as all his contracts have been cancelled, the BBC reported.

Cosby is due to perform three shows in Ontario, beginning in Kitchener, which will his first live performance since November, while protests are due to be held outside the Ontario shows.
