Bill Murray's 1984 unreleased sci-fi movie 'Nothing Lasts Forever', produced under Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) has resurfaced after it got leaked online in 2011.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie had been screened over the years but it gained some popularity in 2004 after Murray had it included in a retrospective of his work at the BAMcinematek in New York.
Tom Schiller said at a 2010 screening that he thought that MGM thought it was low-budget or something to get off the hook of their contract, but he had total freedom.
He also said the film was accepted to Cannes twice, but MGM did not allow it to screen there.
The movie featured Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd and was written and directed by 'Saturday Night Live' veteran Tom Schiller, starring Zach Galligan as a man caught between two worlds.
