Billy Idol has landed a deal to write his own memoir, according to reports.
The White Wedding singer's 'Dancing With Myself' autobiography will be released in October, Contactmusic reported.
In the book, Idol will recount his "remarkable life story" from his "transient childhood to his seminal role in the U.K. punk movement, to his meteoric rise as one of Mtv's first megastars".
A spokesman said that he'll be revealing never-before-told tales of the culture, sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll that coloured his experience as he vaulted to the top of the rock kingdom.
