'Birdman', 'Grand Budapest' rule Oscars by taking home 4 titles each

Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu directed movie 'Birdman' and Wes Anderson's directed 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' ruled the Academy Awards 2015 by grabbing 4 big titles each.

Michael Keaton starrer dark comedy was honored with awards like Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Cinematography, whereas the detective comedy film received the Best Costume Design, Best Makeup and Hairstyling, Best Production Design, and Best Original Score Alexandre Desplat.

Julianne Moore nabbed the award of Best Actress for her remarkable role in 'Still Alice' with Eddie Redmayne receiving Best Actor award for 'The Theory of Everything', whereas Patricia Arquette got the Best Supporting Actress award for 'Boyhood' and J.K. Simmons as the Best Supporting Actor for 'Whiplash'.

Best Documentary, Short Subject- 'Crisis Hotline: Veterans Press 1'
