Appealing to the Delhi Police to do everything in its power to ensure law and order, Bharatiya Janata Party leaders said here on Monday that people behind the open firing at Connaught Place should be apprehended.
Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay told ANI, "This is a very tense situation. There is something lacking, and the BJP is very concerned."
He said, "There should be strong investigation for criminals."
Party spokesperson Nalin Kohli said, "I am confident that Delhi Police will do everything in its power to ensure these kinds of incidents don't happen."
"And, whoever are the people behind it, all are apprehended, and further incidents like this, don't happen again," he added.
On 11th October, three unidentified men open fired at cops at 9:05 pm at Super Bazar, Mayur Bhavan, in the Connaught Place area.
One of the attackers was arrested the same day, while the remaining two managed to flee.
