The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday filed a complaint against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal with the Election Commission (EC) for leveling baseless allegations against it.

The BJP urged the commission to take cognizance of AAP charging the party with deleting names of its supporters from the electoral rolls with the help of officials and enrolling fake voters by paying money.

"Kejriwal had complained to the poll body against the BJP but did not give any evidence in this regard," said Delhi BJP Chief Satish Upadhyay here at a press conference.

He also said that a legal notice has also been sent to Kejriwal over the allegation.

On a poser about government formation in Delhi, Upadhyay said that the BJP will take the appropriate decision at the appropriate time.
