Expressing confidence of forming the government in Delhi with absolute majority, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for making personal attacks on Arvind Kejriwal and said the people do not want a party that is just making political allegations.

"The honourable Prime Minister has no choice but to make allegations given the current situation where there is a groundswell support for the Aam Aadmi Party, given the current situation where all surveys are saying that the Aam Aadmi Party is shooting ahead of the BJP," AAP spokesperson Atishi Marlena said.

Marlena further said the BJP is left with no choice but to make allegations.

"This is the politics that they have been reduced to. But I think that the BJP and the Prime Minister would do well to know that the people of Delhi want a vision for Delhi, the people of Delhi want an agenda for Delhi, they want a political party which can improve the health, education, the jobs, the safety of Delhi. They do not want a party that is just making political allegations," she added.

Addressing an election rally in Dwarka earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress and AAP of being hand-in-glove in order to come to power.

"There are two such political groups contesting in Delhi, who join hands behind the curtain in order to come to power. A competition of making false promises, telling lies and imposing false allegations is going on between these two groups," Prime Minister Modi said.

Prime Minister Modi asserted that development is the solution to all the problems that the nation is facing.

"I contested the election on the agenda of development, I govern the nation on the same agenda, development is the only solution to all our problems," he said.

The elections for 70-member Delhi Assembly will take place on February 7 while the results will be announced on February 10.

The last day of campaigning for the polls is February 5.
