Bhartiya Janata Party leaders have gathered at Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu's residence to celebrate the festival of 'Raksha Bandhan'. RSS leader Bhaiyaji Joshi is the chief guest of the event.
Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu said on the occasion, "We are all 'swayam sevaks' and we have gathered here today to celebrate 'Raksha Bandhan'."
He said, "Earlier we used to celebrate this festival with the people of our respective regions, but this year we have parliament session to attend so we have gathered here to celebrate the festival today".
Naidu also said, "RSS leader Bhaiyaji Joshi is our chief guest and during his address he spoke on our duties towards society".
"There was no discussion on politics or the government. We discussed how we should rise above caste, creed, religion or region and work towards the betterment of the society.", he added.
