Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah will begin a two-day visit to Uttarakhand on September 19 to take stock of the party's affairs in the state as part of his 110-day nation-wide tour of all the states of the country.
Shah will reach Dehradun Airport at 10 a.m. and will preside over a meeting of state office bearers, members of state core group, MPs and MLAs from the state, State Morcha presidents and general secretaries, district presidents, Zila Parishad presidents, Chairmen of Co-operative Banks and former MPs and MLAs at Hotel Madhuban at 11.30 a.m.
The party president will preside over a review meeting of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Karyavistaar Yojana at the same venue at 3 p.m.
He will hold a discussion with the State Office Bearers, Core Group members, District presidents, Morcha Presidents and General Secretaries and MPs and MLAs on various issues at 4.30 p.m. He will hold a separate meeting with the prabharis of different Morchas and cells at 5.30 p.m.
The national president will address a meeting of intellectuals and eminent citizens at the ONGC auditorium, Dehradun at 6.30 p.m. and will chair over a separate meeting of MPs and MLAs at the Chief Minister's Residence at 9.30 p.m.
Next day, which also happens to be the last day of his visit, Shah will inaugurate a library and an e-library at the state BJP headquarters at 11 a.m. Soon after, the BJP president will preside over a meeting of different departments and projects at the state BJP office. He will also address a press conference at Hotel Madhuban at 2.30 p.m.
The BJP president will address a meeting of district office bearers, district presidents and office bearers of different Morchas, district convenors of various cells, state executive members, mandal presidents and secretaries in the Survey of India stadium, Dehradun at 4 p.m.

At 5.30 p.m., Shah will chair a meeting of state IT cell, the social media and the members of election committee at the Bijapur Guest House at 5.30 p.m. He will hold a discussion with the ministers of the Uttarakhand Government over a host of issues at the same venue at 8.30 p.m.
Thereafter, Shah will hold a meeting with the Members of Core Group, 9.30 p.m. at the same venue.
More than 4 lakh BJP workers have pledged their full time commitment to the party variously for 15 days, 6 months and 1 year categories under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Birth Centenary Karya Vistarak Yojana across the country.
Shah is visiting the state for the first time after piloting the BJP to a thumping victory in the state assembly elections.
