Commerce Minister Anand Sharma on Monday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ideological mentor Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was aggressively campaigning for gaining power.
Addressing a news conference here, Sharma said BJP-RSS were unfairly targeting Congress' United Progressive Alliance (UPA).
"In the national context it is only the Indian National Congress which is in a position to stop what the country is witnessing-a very aggressive bid to snatch power at any cost by RSS, BJP combine. In this election we have also seen unfair targeting of the UPA leadership, the government and the leadership of the Indian National Congress," said Sharma.
Sharma also added that the BJP has been misusing the resources for their propaganda and publicity.
"When it comes to the BJP, this country has never seen such an aggressive, loud propaganda, advertisement, use of resources of a magnitude which is again unprecedented in the history of this country," he added.
