The Congress on Friday said the Bengaluru National Executive session of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would be a brainwashing session to convince most members into feeling that the Land Acquisition Bill is pro-corporate.
"The Bangalore session of the BJP National Executive is a brainwash session because the MPs and the members/leaders of the executive who come from the farmers area, the rural belt, they very strongly feel that this policy of the BJP Government on farmers are pro-corporate," said Congress leader, P.C. Chacko.
"This opinion is coming again and again in the committee and as we hear/read from the report that they are arranging a power point presentation to convince or brainwash the National Executive members," he added.
He further said this showed where the government is.
"A few leaders in the leadership want this to be implemented against the farmer's wish and interest for the sake of a handful of corporates," he added.
