The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is expected to register its victory in all 16 municipal corporations in Madhya Pradesh today.
BJP's Mukesh Tandon won from the Vidisha municipal corporation. BJP's Meena Jonwal from Ujjain has also registered victory.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan expressed his delight with the BJP's splendid show in the civic polls.
"This has happened for the first time in history of state that BJP is going to register its victory in all 16 Municipal corporations," said Chauhan.
"Congress must introspect and understand that politics of imposing allegations, defaming state will not work," he added.
