BJP should learn first, then impart lessons to others: Congress

Congress leader Satyavrat Chaturvedi on Saturday said the Bharatiya Janata Party is ill-prepared when it comes to accepting advice from others, while it expects the opposite from others.

"The BJP has many faces, it gives lectures and advice to others, but when it comes to others who start giving advice to the BJP, then they have a problem. Hence, they must introspect on themselves first before passing judgement on others," Chaturvedi said.

Hitting out at the BJP in its editorial mouthpiece 'Saamna', the Shiv Sena had on Saturday questioned the party for keeping L.K. Advani waiting for his seat for the Lok Sabha polls. "L.K. Advani was kept on hold for a long time. Why was he kept on hold? This is an insult to Advani," Shiv Sena said.

"Advani's name should've featured in the first list. A person who was part of BJP's golden era, was kept hanging till the last minute," the Shiv Sena added.
